About Our Founder

The Active Women was birthed from the heart and testimony of Chanel Carmichael through prayer and fasting. A visionary leader, community advocate, and faith‑driven woman committed to helping women rise, Chanel believes, " Grace is the power of presence. It’s how The Active Women move through life with intention, compassion, and balance". Chanel’s journey — marked by resilience, healing, and divine redirection — became the foundation for a movement that empowers women to embrace who they are and who God is calling them to be.

With a background in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and women’s empowerment, Chanel has spent years creating meaningful experiences that inspire transformation. She is known for her signature events, including Visions of Victory, a God‑given vision board experience designed to help women decree, declare, and do the work required to walk in purpose. "Grit is the fire. It’s the relentless drive to push through resistance, to rise after every fall, and to keep showing up."

Chanel believes that women are called to be active — not just physically, but spiritually and mentally.
Active in faith.
Active in healing.
Active in purpose.
Active in becoming.

"Greatness is the outcome — not just of achievement, but of alignment." For The Active Women, greatness is not a destination — it’s a lifestyle.

Her leadership is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and a deep desire to see women win. As a wife, community leader, and dog mom to her spirited Chihuahua, Kiwi, Chanel brings warmth, relatability, and strength to everything she touches.

Together, Grace, Grit, and Greatness form the pillars of The Active Women:
A movement where women rise with resilience, lead with heart, and live with purpose.
